Six months ago, I went in to my doctor's office and was told my blood pressure was crazy high, and that if i didn't get it down and lose some weight, I'd have to take meds. This morning, my blood pressure was 99 over 63, and my resting pulse was 58. This morning, I weighed in and saw that I've lost exactly 80 pounds.
Five months ago, I started exercising. My first day, I walked 1.19 miles in 28 minutes. Last night, I walked 3.36 miles in 66 minutes. My goal is to walk 100 miles this month.
It's been six months since I rebooted my life, and it is awesome.
Most joyous song on my iPod: Peter Gabriel's "Solsbury Hill."
