still don't know what to do with Lauren for her solo Hawaiian dance
my mom is recovering well from her surgery (new hip), but hearing her sound so subdued and tired (on the phone) is really odd.
my dad is sick with some kind of bug, and so morose that he's thought about starting smoking again, and is now ready for my stepmom to pierce his ear.
haven't done any sewing
haven't finished photo albums, still can't get good pictures
just not motivated to do much of anything

Does your dad want his ear pierced? Or is Sharon threatening to do it?
Hope everything goes well with both your parents -- everything seems to just pile on this time of year, doesn't it?
It sounded like he wanted to, just to have something to do. I also think he REALLY liked the idea of telling the girls that he was going to do it, just so they could tell him how crazy he is.
Predictably, Sarah has said that she doesn't want to get her ears pierced at all (it hurts, though really not very much), and Lauren can't wait to get hers done.
